Overview
Microsoft 365: License Subscription Expiration Dates
The Microsoft 365 Inspector now collects and displays subscription expiration dates for each Microsoft 365 license SKU. You can view renewal dates directly in the Product Subscriptions view, making it easier to monitor upcoming license expirations without leaving Liongard.

Microsoft 365 Inspector: User Sign-In Location Reporting
The Microsoft 365 Inspector now collects user sign-in history, restoring visibility previously available through the deprecated Azure AD Inspector. You can now report on interactive sign-in activity, including user location, IP address, sign-in status, and timestamp.

Roar Assistant: Docked Panel Experience
The Roar Assistant is now available as a persistent, docked panel, giving you instant access to AI-powered assistance from anywhere in Liongard without interrupting your workflow. The assistant stays open as you navigate between pages, preserves conversation context, and automatically adapts to the environment or system you're viewing for more relevant, context-aware responses.

Domotz Inspector: Expanded Endpoint Coverage
The Domotz Inspector now collects significantly more data from the Domotz Public API, providing deeper visibility into managed network assets, device configurations, network health, alerts, and account governance. This update also introduces new metrics and change-detection rules to help you identify issues and configuration drift without manual review.

- Expanded device inventory with operating system details, human-readable device types, installed applications, and user-defined inventory fields.
- Configuration change detection captures running and startup configuration backup hashes to help identify unexpected configuration drift.
- Enhanced network visibility includes custom tags, IP conflicts, network interfaces, and network topology information.
- Broader alert collection gathers alert rules at the account, agent, and device levels, along with alerts from the previous 24 hours.

Beta: Fortinet FortiManager Inspector

You can now centrally monitor your FortiManager environment and the FortiGate firewalls it manages with the new Fortinet FortiManager Inspector (Beta). A single parent launchpoint connects to FortiManager, automatically discovers managed FortiGate devices, and creates child systems that collect read-only FortiOS configuration—without requiring direct credentials or network connectivity to each firewall.

New Beta Inspector: UniFi Cloud Inspector

You can now use the UniFi Cloud Inspector (Beta) to gain centralized visibility into your clients' Ubiquiti UniFi environments directly from Liongard. The inspector automatically discovers UniFi sites and collects inventory and configuration data across UniFi Network and UniFi Protect, giving you a unified view of both networking and physical security infrastructure.
What You Can Monitor
With the UniFi Cloud Inspector, you can view:
- Cloud-managed hosts, sites, and device inventory
- Network devices and health telemetry
- Connected clients
- VLANs, firewall zones, policies, and ACL rules
- DNS policies and WAN interfaces

You can now monitor your customers' Admin By Request environments directly from Liongard. The Admin By Request Inspector (Beta) collects endpoint privilege management data from the Admin By Request cloud, giving you visibility into managed computers, local administrator access, application elevations, and key security events.

You can now monitor your Lexful IT documentation environment directly from Liongard with the new Lexful Inspector (Beta). The inspector provides centralized visibility into your documentation platform by inventorying account-wide resources and automatically discovering each client organization for more granular reporting.

You can now monitor WithSecure Elements environments directly from Liongard with the new WithSecure Inspector (Beta). Using a single partner-level API credential, the inspector automatically discovers customer organizations and inventories endpoint security, device health, EDR incidents, and recent security events across your managed environments.

Beta: DigitalOcean Inspector
You can now monitor your customers' DigitalOcean environments with the new DigitalOcean Inspector (Beta). Designed for both AI governance and cloud infrastructure management, the inspector provides visibility into DigitalOcean's GenAI platform alongside traditional cloud resources. A single Personal Access Token connects to a DigitalOcean team, automatically discovers each DigitalOcean Project, and creates a child launchpoint for centralized monitoring and reporting.

Network Discovery: Expanded SNMP Enrichment and Custom SNMP OIDs
Network Discovery now collects richer SNMP data from any reachable SNMP-enabled device and lets you configure custom SNMP OIDs to monitor vendor-specific metrics. These enhancements provide deeper visibility into your network assets while giving you greater flexibility to monitor the devices that matter most to your organization.
What's New
- Broader SNMP enrichment automatically collects standard MIB-2 system information, including hostnames, operating system details, uptime, contact information, location, and interface data from all supported SNMP devices.
- Custom SNMP OID support lets you configure vendor-specific OIDs directly within each Network Discovery launchpoint, including a friendly name and expected data type for each OID.
- Resilient collection ensures unsupported custom OIDs do not interrupt inspections. If a device doesn't support a configured OID, collection continues normally for the remaining data.

- Gain richer asset inventory data from any SNMP-capable device without additional configuration.
- Monitor vendor-specific metrics for devices such as NAS appliances, UPS systems, switches, and other network hardware.

Expanded SNMP enrichment is enabled automatically for all SNMPv2 and SNMPv3 Network Discovery launchpoints.

Custom OIDs can be configured per launchpoint under Network Discovery > Action menu (3 dots) > Edit > Custom SNMP OIDs.

AI Insights: Updated Credit Metering
We've updated how AI Insight Credits are consumed across the Liongard platform and MCP. In addition to natural-language AI questions, credit usage now includes MCP tool activity, providing more accurate metering while keeping routine data retrieval highly cost-efficient.
What's Changed
AI Insight Credits are now calculated using three independent metering methods:
- Natural-language queries through the
liongard_queryMCP tool consume 1 credit per query. - All other MCP tool calls consume 1 credit for every 100 tool calls, making routine entity lookups and data retrieval extremely efficient.
- Questions asked through the in-app Roar Assistant consume 1 credit per question and response.
Each interaction is counted only once, so there is no double counting between metering methods.
What's Free
The AI Query Companion / Metrics Builder does not consume AI Insight Credits and remains free to use.

- More accurately reflects AI usage across both the Roar Assistant and MCP.
- Keeps routine MCP data lookups inexpensive, with 100 standard tool calls consuming just a single credit.
- Maintains simple, predictable pricing for natural-language AI interactions.

Asset Inventory: Bulk Update Across Filtered Results
Managing large inventories is now faster with enhanced bulk actions in Asset Inventory. You can now apply bulk actions to every asset matching your current filters across all pages, eliminating the need to select rows on each page manually.
Highlights
- Update entire filtered result sets instead of only the assets displayed on the current page.
- Automatically enable the Actions menu when a filter is applied—no manual row selection required.
- View the total number of affected assets directly in the Actions button (for example, Actions (3,856)).
- See a helpful tooltip indicating that actions apply to all filtered results across every page.
- Review a confirmation dialog before executing a bulk action, including the exact number of assets that will be updated.
- Continue using manual row selection whenever needed. If specific rows are selected, the existing manual-selection behavior takes precedence.
This enhancement makes it easier to perform large-scale updates, tagging, archiving, inventory moves, and other bulk operations across your entire filtered asset inventory with confidence.
Windows System Inspectors: IPv6 Adapter Binding Visibility
The Windows Server and Windows Workstation Inspectors now provide visibility into the IPv6 binding state of every network adapter, making it easier to verify IPv6 configurations and identify unintended IPv6 exposure across managed devices.
What's New
Each inspected network adapter now reports:
- Adapter name
- Whether IPv6 is enabled or disabled
- Any configured IPv6 address(es)
The inspector reports the actual Windows operating system binding state, including configurations where IPv6 has been disabled through Group Policy or the DisabledComponents registry setting, providing a more accurate view than relying on network-layer detection alone.

Continuum RMM Inspector Deprecation
The Continuum RMM Inspector has been deprecated and is scheduled for retirement within the next 12 months. Following ConnectWise's acquisition of Continuum, RMM development has been consolidated into the ConnectWise Asio platform, and the legacy Continuum RMM technology is no longer under active development.
What You Need to Do
If you're currently using the Continuum RMM Inspector, migrate to the ConnectWise Asio Inspector as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted monitoring and continued access to new features, updates, and support.
Impact
- The Continuum RMM Inspector is now deprecated.
- The inspector will be retired within 12 months.
- Migrate to the ConnectWise Asio Inspector to avoid service disruption and continue receiving updates and support.

Platform and Gen AI Minor Updates and Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue with the Windows Agent where credentials used during PreFlight execution could appear in plaintext in process logs captured by endpoint security tools.
- Resolved an issue with the Agents dashboard where agents were incorrectly shown as offline and the Last Heartbeat timer looped instead of resetting, caused by a mismatch between the agent's system clock and the server's clock.
- Renamed the Access Management Role "Dashboard Admin" to "Visual Insights Admin" so that it can be more consistent with its purpose; no changes have been made to the role's scope.
- Fixed an issue where the Metric Builder's AI Query Companion incorrectly required an environment selection, preventing metric creation from the Metrics screen.
- Fixed an issue with Roar Assistant returning unnecessary information.
- Resolved an issue where AI features were unavailable to service providers created after March 2026.
- Resolved several visual inconsistencies in the Roar Assistant when using Dark Mode, improving readability, contrast, and overall usability throughout the chat experience.
- Fixed a bug to enable Roar Assistant responses to accurately handle time-scoped questions.

- Fixed an issue where exporting the Active Inspectors list to CSV failed with a server error on environments with a very large number of inspectors.
- Fixed an issue where editing an inspector from an environment's Inspector Type filter caused a save error, even with no changes made. Inspectors can now be saved successfully regardless of how they were opened.
- Fixed a display issue where the AI Query Companion field on the Create Metric page rendered with a black background, making the input unreadable in Microsoft Edge.
- Fixed an issue where users with the Manager role scoped to custom environment groups, or with individually selected environments, could not select the Global Agent when creating or editing inspectors.
- Fixed a bug where pressing a key while the Day(s) dropdown was open (Inspector → Set Inspector Schedule) crashed the page.
- Fixed an issue where retired inspectors (e.g., Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams) incorrectly appeared under the Global Dashboard's Needs Attention section. Retired inspectors are now correctly excluded.
- Added a close button to the Inspection Logs screen, so it can be dismissed without refreshing the page.
Integration and Inspector Minor Updates and Bug Fixes
- Actionable Alerts
- Improved alert rule testing to match live alerting behavior — when historical inspection data is partial or missing for a metric, test results now correctly show no change detected, consistent with how live alerts handle the same situation.
- Fixed an issue where the Actionable Alert testing tool for "Microsoft 365 | Change to License Summary Info" could incorrectly report that a historical alert would not have triggered. Testing results now match live alert behavior.
- Added a new Microsoft 365 alert that flags users registered with a weak MFA method (email or SMS/phone), naming the specific method found. Ships disabled by default, so opting in is required.
- Asset Inventory
- Fixed an issue where devices in the Cyber Asset Inventory incorrectly displayed as offline with a 'Device is not responding' status, even when the devices were confirmed online and reachable.
- Resolved an issue with Asset Inventory where a device detected by both a Windows inspector and Network Discovery appeared as duplicate entries instead of merging into a single device profile.
- Cisco SBS
- Improved error handling for the Cisco SBS inspector. When an unexpected username prompt is encountered — typically because Automatic Login isn't enabled on the switch — the inspector now returns a clear, actionable error message instead of failing silently.
- CrowdStrike
- Fixed an issue where single-tenant CrowdStrike EDR customers could see inspections fail with a 403 error. Inspections now correctly skip MSSP-only checks for single-tenant setups, matching behavior already in place for other inspectors like Microsoft 365.
- Fixed an issue where large CrowdStrike environments could exceed a processing size limit, causing only a partial device list to appear in inspection results. All devices are now processed and reflected in the data print.
- Cyber Risk Dashboard
- Fixed an issue where MFA data didn't appear on the Cyber Risk Dashboard for some Microsoft 365 environments, and where the Total Users and Privileged Users drill-downs showed no data. Both now display correctly. Only impacts large M365 tenants.
- Fixed an issue on the Cyber Risk Dashboard where Microsoft 365 environments with more than 1,000 users showed "No System Found" when drilling into Total Users or Privileged Users, and MFA data failed to populate. These views now display correctly regardless of user count.
- Fortinet FortiGate
- Fixed an issue where Excel exports of Fortinet FortiGate reports were missing data in multiple columns. Downloaded Excel reports now include complete data for both the Fortinet Overview and Fortinet Firewall Details sections, matching what's shown on the platform and in PDF exports.
- Inspectors (All)
- Fixed an issue where updating one secure configuration field on a launch point could unintentionally clear the values of other secure fields on the same launch point; affects any inspector with 2+ secure fields.
- Fixed an issue where an inspector linked to a deleted agent could still be enabled or disabled without validation.
- Internet Domain/DNS
- Fixed an intermittent issue where Internet Domain/DNS inspections could fail due to a timeout during GeoIP data initialization. Inspections now complete reliably without interruption.
- IT Glue
- Fixed an issue where Cisco IOS device serial numbers weren't syncing to IT Glue Pro Sync during automatic core configuration updates. Serial numbers now populate correctly.
- Fixed an issue where the column sort button in the IT Glue Flexible Assets edit view was unresponsive.
- Metrics
- Fixed an issue where a request for a metric that no longer exists could trigger a slow, large query that impacted API performance for all users. Requests for invalid metrics now return a fast, clear error instead.
- Microsoft 365
- Fixed an issue causing Microsoft 365 inspections to fail on large tenants with high user and device counts, ensuring M365 data now collects successfully regardless of tenant size.
- Fixed an issue where the Microsoft 365 Inspector's Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune tables displayed "No Data Found" even though data was present. These tables now correctly display the available data.
- Fixed an issue where the Microsoft 365 Directory Sync Enablement alert could trigger false alarms due to the underlying metric returning a null value instead of true or false. The metric and alert now consistently report accurate status, eliminating false-positive alerts. Note: some environments may see a single alert fire during the first inspection after this update, as the value resets to its corrected baseline — no further alerts will follow.
- Fixed an issue where a Microsoft 365 child inspection could fail if the Microsoft Graph returned an error retrieving a Teams channel's members. The inspector now skips the affected channel and continues collecting the rest of the Microsoft 365 and Teams data successfully.
- Network Discovery
- Resolved an issue in the Network Discovery inspector where Windows devices running SonicWall NetExtender were incorrectly identified as SonicWall devices.
- Fixed an issue where the Network Discovery inspector's most recent inspection results did not reflect the inspector's Version 2.0 data.

- Fixed an issue in the Network Discovery Inspector where inspections failed if no Targets were specified. The Targets field is now required — enter one or more IP addresses or CIDR ranges (e.g., 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.1/24). Automatic subnet detection when Targets is left blank is no longer supported.
- Fixed an issue where Network Discovery could return incomplete or inconsistent results when scanning multiple subnets, causing some reachable devices to be missing from results. Network Discovery now reliably identifies devices across all configured subnets.
- Updated Network Discovery to scan unique subnets during Windows Server-based discovery, preventing duplicate device discovery across overlapping subnets.
- Roar Inspector
- Added a new metric to the Roar Inspector exposing billable identity counts per environment, with full change-detection support. Partners can now track billable identity count changes over time directly from the environment timeline.
- SentinelOne
- Fixed an issue where SentinelOne child inspectors failed if the connected API key lacked permission for certain data (such as Exclusions or Blocklist). The inspector now skips inaccessible data and completes successfully with everything it can access.
- Fixed an issue where some SentinelOne child inspectors failed with an authentication error due to outdated stored credentials. Affected child inspectors now inherit credentials directly from the parent inspector, resolving the authentication failures.
- SonicWall
- Added support for SonicWall Capture Client EU data centers. Admins can now select the correct regional URL (US or EU) when configuring the SonicWall Capture Client Inspector, resolving authentication failures for partners using EU-hosted Capture Client tenants.
- TLS/SSL
- Fixed an issue where the TLS/SSL inspector incorrectly reported TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 as "Supported" even when the server rejected the handshake. Rejected protocols now correctly report as "Not Supported," and certificate RSA key size now populates as expected.
- Fixed an issue where temporary network timeouts in the TLS/SSL Inspector could cause inspections to pause unnecessarily. Transient connectivity issues no longer trigger an automatic pause.
- Improved the TLS/SSL Inspector so that a target completing a handshake without presenting a certificate returns a clear result instead of a misleading "Timed Out" error.
- Ubiquiti Unifi
- Fixed an issue in the UniFi Inspector where WAN Configuration IP addresses for DHCP-based WAN connections could appear stale, missing, or inconsistent with the Devices tab. WAN IP addresses now refresh correctly on every inspection cycle.
- Windows Server/Workstation
- Fixed a false change detection issue on Windows Server inspections where a fluctuating software install date/time was incorrectly triggering change alerts. Software list changes are now detected accurately.
- Fixed an issue where the network speed test showed inflated download speeds and displayed 'Infinity' for upload speed. Windows Server and Workstation inspectors now report accurate download and upload speed results.
