Overview
New Inspector - LogicMonitor (Beta)
We are introducing the new LogicMonitor Inspector (Beta) inspector, bringing your LogicMonitor portal data directly into Liongard for centralized visibility and auditing. This new inspector allows you to monitor infrastructure, review configurations, and assess operational health without needing to log into the LogicMonitor portal.
Feature Highlights
-
Collector Health Visibility We surface all collectors with status (Up/Down), platform, version, and group assignment. A derived CollectorsDownOrError array powers a built-in Collector Down Detected rule, helping you identify monitoring gaps before they impact visibility.

Active Alert Triage We capture all uncleared alerts with severity, monitored object, DataSource, instance, start time, and acknowledgment details. A dedicated Active Critical Alerts view and pre-configured rule make it easy to prioritize high-impact issues.
-
2FA & Privileged Access Auditing We ingest user roles and two-factor authentication status, highlighting AdminUsersWithoutTwoFactor through derived datasets and alerting—so you can quickly identify high-risk access gaps.
-
Device Inventory & Error State Tracking We pull monitored device data at scale and surface DevicesInErrorState and DevicesWithDeadAlerts, giving you fast insight into monitoring health across large environments.
-
API Token Security Audit We track all LMv1 API tokens, including owner, status, creation date, and last-used activity—supporting credential audits and cleanup of stale tokens.
-
Alert Rule & Escalation Chain Documentation We capture alert routing rules and escalation chains in priority order, providing a clear, exportable view of how incidents are managed across your environment.
Why It Matters

- Fixed an issue where the Agent version displayed in the UI did not reflect the correct version after a downgrade.
- Security enhancement improvement in network discovery audit logs - when SNMPv3 credentials are configured within the inspector, they are masked as MASKED in the audit logs to eliminate exposure.
- Deleted environments are now automatically and permanently removed after a 60-day retention period.
- Fixed an issue where Launchpoint default configurations were not saved when discovered via an Inspector or Agent. Manual intervention is no longer required for configurations to persist correctly.
- Improved Liongard MCP tool parameter-level descriptions to optimize token usage.
- MCP tools now return data exclusively from AI-Enabled environments, ensuring that partner data is properly scoped.
- Fixed an issue where Roar Assistant responses would stream into the wrong conversation thread when navigating between chats during generation.
- MCP - Resolve issue with SSE connections and session handling.
- Resolved an issue in the metric builder where cloning a metric with a percent sign in its name displayed a "Sorry! Something went wrong" error. Metrics with special characters in their names now clone successfully
Integration and Inspector Minor Updates and Bug Fixes
- Active Directory
- Resolved an issue with the Active Directory inspector where inspections failed due to unexpected group membership data. Inspections now complete successfully even when group membership data is missing or in an unexpected format.
- Resolved an issue with the Active Directory inspector where privileged group membership could fail to resolve correctly, causing repeated change detections and noisy alerts.
- Asset Inventory
- Asset Inventory now offers two distinct ways to explore asset relationships: a Data View with a structured list of related assets, and a Map View with a visual diagram of how identities and devices connect. Both views update automatically as relationships are added or removed.
- Improved device matching across inspectors to reduce duplicate device profiles by normalizing hostname formats, stripping the .local suffix, and supporting NETBIOS prefix and fuzzy hostname comparisons.
- Enhanced the Asset Inventory to include Quick Views and Quick Filters for the Identities and Devices tables, with support for predefined and custom views, multi-select filter dropdowns, removable Active Filter chips, and the ability for admins to create, pin, and manage custom views.
- Enhanced the Asset Inventory Devices and Identities pages to retain Inventory State tabs and Device sub-category quick filters in the new AG Grid table experience.
- Autotask
- Fixed an issue in the Autotask integration where some accounts visible in the Autotask inspector were missing from Admin > Integrations > Autotask > Import & Mapping > Import Accounts. Affected accounts now appear correctly for import. If a previously deleted Liongard environment is blocking import, you will be prompted to restore or rename it.
- BitLyft
- Improved the BitLyft inspector by disabling change detection on the Log Count and Log Size metrics, which change on every inspection by design, to reduce noise in the timeline and alert workflows.
- Domotz
- Resolved an issue with the Domotz inspector where inspections failed with a 403 error when the monitored environment contained grouped network interface child devices.
- Fortinet FortiGate
- Enhanced the Fortinet FortiGate inspector to support VDOM discovery and VDOM-scoped data extraction, including new VDOM Count, VDOM Summary, and VDOM DNS Summary metrics and a VDOMs view in the dataprint.
- Resolved an issue with the Fortinet FortiGate inspector where the User Summary metric did not display admin user details. Admin user information now appears correctly in the inspector.
- Enhanced the Fortinet FortiGate inspector to return local non-admin users via the /user/local endpoint, expanding user visibility beyond admin and API accounts.
- Resolved an issue with the FortiGate inspector where missing SSL-VPN configuration on certain FortiGate devices caused inspections to fail with a 400 Bad Request error.
- Microsoft 365
- Enhanced the Microsoft 365 inspector to expand the Enterprise Applications dataprint with admin and user consent permissions, including claim values, consent types, granted by, and creation date.
- Enhanced the Microsoft 365 inspector to display additional licensing columns, including Active Licenses, Available Licenses, Expiring Soon, Suspended Licenses, and Total Purchased for a more accurate view of license inventory.
- Resolved an issue with the Microsoft 365 inspector where attempting to delete a launch point resulted in a 500 Internal Server Error, and the deletion failed.
- Resolved an issue with the Microsoft 365 inspector where the license count shown in Liongard could differ from the values displayed in the Microsoft 365 admin dashboard.
- Resolved an issue with the Microsoft 365 inspector where SharePoint site access could not be audited at the site level by adding bidirectional linking between SharePoint sites and Microsoft 365 groups, allowing partners to identify which groups have access to each site.
- Resolved an issue with the Microsoft 365 inspector where the Recipient_Type field was returning null in metrics for users without an Exchange Online license, because the value was sourced from a time-aggregated usage report rather than an authoritative Microsoft endpoint.
- Resolved an issue with the Microsoft 365 inspector where alert metric values displayed as [object Object] instead of the actual data values.
- Resolved an issue with the Microsoft 365 inspector where an inspection failed entirely when a single SharePoint site or OneDrive resource returned an HTTP 402 error, rather than skipping the affected resource and continuing.
- Improved the Microsoft 365 inspector by sourcing the Recipient_Type and Is_Deleted fields from a real-time authoritative Microsoft endpoint instead of a time-aggregated usage report, ensuring these values accurately reflect the current mailbox state and remain stable across consecutive inspection runs.
- Network Discovery
- Resolved an issue with the Network Discovery inspector where Fortinet FortiGate devices were not being discovered because vendor information could not be resolved from the device MAC address, preventing the inspector from being auto-provisioned.
- Roar Inspector
- Enhanced the Roar inspector to surface instance IP addresses, including Application IP, Integrations IP, and ITGlue Flexible Asset Processor IP addresses, in the dataprint along with corresponding metrics and an alert that fires when any IP address changes.
- SonicWall
- Resolved an issue with the SonicWall inspector where inspection failure errors were not displayed clearly in the UI, making it difficult to identify the cause of setup failures.
- Sophos XG
- Enhanced the Sophos XG inspector to surface license expiration, firmware version, hostname, and model data, with license expiration now visible under Asset Inventory firewall details.
- Ubiquiti Unifi
- Resolved an issue with the Ubiquiti UniFi inspector where the inspection failed when certain features, such as Hotspot Operators, RADIUS Accounts, or Port Config, were disabled or unavailable on a device, causing an api.err.NotFound error that aborted the inspection.
