Overview
Liongard Inspector Setup
In Liongard, navigate to Admin > Inspectors > Inspector Types > Navigate to the Managed Printer Inspector > Select Add System.
Fill in the following information:

Environment: Select the Environment this System Inspector should be associated to

Friendly Name: Suggested Naming: "Managed Printer - [Environment Name]"

Agent: Select the On-premise or Self-Hosted Agent installed for this Environment

Version: Latest (Auto-Update)

Target: The IP address or hostname of the printer you wish to inspect

Port: The port on which the SNMP agent on the printer is listening. This is set to 161 by default.

SNMP Version: The version of SNMP supported by the SNMP agent running on the printer. This is set to 'v1' by default and can also be set to 'v2c' or 'v3'.
SNMP Version-Specific Settings
The remaining steps are determined by the version of SNMP you're using.
SNMP V1 / V2C

SNMP V2C Community String: This value is set to 'public' by default and is only required if you're using SNMP v2c.

Scheduling: The Inspector will default to run once a day at the time the Inspector is set up. Here you can adjust the schedule
Skip the remaining SNMP v3-specific fields and select Save at the bottom of the page. The Inspector will now be triggered to run within the minute.
SNMP v3
The following settings are only relevant if you're using SNMP V3. If you're using V1 or V2C, you can skip the options described below.
SNMP V3

SNMP V3 Security Level: This value can be set to one of 'authNoPriv', 'authPriv', or 'noAuthNoPriv'.

SNMP V3 Authentication Protocol: This value can be set to either 'MD5' or 'SHA'.

SNMP V3 Encryption Protocol: This value can be set to either 'AES' or 'DES'.

SNMP V3 Username: The username associated with the SNMP v3 user you're using for the inspection.

SNMP V3 Authentication Password: The authentication password associated with the SNMP v3 user you're using for the inspection. This value is only required if you're using the 'authPriv' or 'authNoPriv' security levels.

SNMP V3 Encryption Password: The encryption password associated with the SNMP v3 user you're using for the inspection. This value is only required if you're using the 'authPriv' security level.
