Azure Active Directory Inspector Improvements
Reorganized and updated data within the Azure Active Directory Data View tabs to better align with the scope of each Data View tab.
Data View Tab | Updates/Changes |
---|---|
Overview | - Added a new table to the "Overview Data View" tab titled "Tenant Domains" to provide an overview of all domains managed by the tenant. - Added a new value, named "Secure Score," to the "Azure Active Directory" list on the "Overview" Data View tab that returns the tenant's current Secure Score value. - Added a new value to show the number of Enabled Conditional Access policies for the tenant to the "Azure Active Directory" table on the "Overview" Data View tab. - Surfacing all sub-domains for partner Azure tenants, sorted so that the top is the default and the rest are authenticated sub-domains, on the "Overview" data tab. |
Intune | - Renamed the "Intune Policies" Data View tab to "Intune" to encompass all returned data for Intune. - Moved the Intune related items from the Devices Overview on the "Devices" Data View tab to a new list, named "Intune Devices Overview," on the "Intune" Data View tab to better group associated data. |
Security | - The "Security" Data View tab will now have more focused data. - Removed the "Security" table from the "Overview" Data View tab to the top of the "Security" Data View tab. - Surfacing more data for Conditional Access Policies to the "Conditional Access Policies" table within the "Security" Data View tab to provide better insight into the configured and enabled Conditional Access Policies for a tenant. - Please note that if "Security Defaults" is enabled for a tenant, or if no Conditional Access Policies are configured for the tenant, then this table will not display any data. - Added a new column to the "Risky Users" table on the "Security" Data View tab named "User Type" to allow better identification of user types, such as guest users. - Renamed the column header for "Total Items in Breach" to "Items to Address" in the "Secure Score" table on the "Security" Data View tab to provide clarity to the meaning of this data. - Added a tooltip to this column to provide clarity. |
Devices | - Added a new column, named "Compliance State," to the "Devices" table on the "Devices" Data View tab that returns the compliance status of the device to allow partners to filter the "Devices" table by this property. |
- Improved Inspector process to minimize duplication within Secure Score Controls.
- Improved/corrected Secure Score data to accurately display score values.
- Updated some data point and column names to better align with Microsoft naming conventions and to clarify the intent of data reporting.
- Added tooltips for some columns in Azure Active Directory Groups and Devices Data View tabs to clarify meaning and possible values for those properties
- Added new Metrics to the Metrics Library:
- "Azure Active Directory: Devices with Unknown Compliance Count" Metric: Shows the number of devices with an "Unknown" device compliance status to account for devices either not enrolled in Intune or returning an Unknown compliance status.
- "Azure Active Directory: Total Devices Not Enrolled Count" Metric: Shows the total number of devices that are currently not enrolled in Intune to show more contrast with other Intune enrollment and compliance data.
